We have heard the claim that the lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the state. We have no idea if that is true. Barlow Lake is home to Camp Manitou-Lin, a YMCA camp with some 160 acres of lake frontage. Barlow Lake is located in a very beautiful wooded area adjacent to the Yankee Springs Recreation Area. Being close to several other popular Michigan Lakes, such as Cobb Lake, Payne Lake, Gun Lake, Long Lake as well as several smaller Michigan lakes, adds to it’s appeal. |
