Cartier Lake is just across the road from Algonquin Lake Fishermen can take Hammond Road to the public access boat launch located on the east side of the lake. The day I was there I counted six different fishing boats, all hoping to join the reported catches of bluegill, crappies, largemouth bass, perch and northern pike. So, go out and test the waters for yourself! |

Cartier Lake is located along the Rutland and Hastings township lines in Barry County. This Michigan lake has some 70 acres of surface waters, with a reported depth of 24 feet.
