This lake boasts of 103 acres of surface waters with a reported depth of 27 feet. Painter lake is connect to Juno Lake and Christiana Lake, for a combined total of 500 acres of all sports activity. Fishermen report catches of Bass, Pike, Bluegill, Crappies and Perch. Painter Lake is 112 miles from Chicago, 12 miles to Elkhart and24 miles to South Bend. |
