Description: Fish Lake is located near Sturgis in St Joseph County, South from Lake Templane (839 acres) and Northeast of Klinger Lake (830 acres), Tamarack Lake (75 acres) and Harwood Lake. This Michigan lake consists of 31 acres of surface waters with reported depths of up to 35 feet. Fish Lake is a spring fed lake and is considered to be one of the cleanest lakes in St Joseph County. There is a public access site on the lake. Fishermen report catches of Bluegill and Largemouth Bass. Fish Lake is 42 miles from Chicago, 143 miles from Elkhart and 55 miles from South Bend. |
