Description: Pickerel Lake is located in Grand Traverse County, adjacent to Fife Lake (615 acres). This Michigan lake has 42 acres of surface waters with reported depths of 15 feet. Pickerel Lake is a non gas motor lake for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, enjoying nature at its finest. Fife Lake is just across the street.

Only a few miles from the village of Fife Lake and aproximately 25 miles from Traverse City. The entire Southern section Of Pickerel Lake butts up to the Pere Marquette State Forest.

We have been here three days, Samuel has gone fishing each of those days and has not caught one fish. So no fish dinners yet. The weather is fine, we are okay except Samuel who is a little embarrassed and really more disappointed.
