Description: Foote Dam Pond is located in Oscoda Township in Iosco County, directly West from the Oscoda Wurtsmith Airport. This Michigan lake consists of 1824 acres of surface waters. The pond is formed as the backwaters of the AuSable River. There is a public access site on the South side of the pond, just off Rea Road. The site has a hard surface ramp, toilets and parking for 50 cars. Fishermen report catches of Northern Pike on Upper Foote Dam Pond and Perch and Smallmouth Bass below Foote Dam Pond. |
