Along the northern lake shore of Muskegon Lake are many nice residential properties. The southern lake shore of the lake are many older industrial properties. The shoreline is changing with many new condo projects, marinas and other lakefront project. Muskegon is quickly loosing the image of being an old industrial town.

Muskegon Lake is a four hour drive from Chicago, a three hour drive from Elkhart and a two hour drive to South Bend.
