Description:
The DNR maintains a small access point on the northern side of Morrison Lake. To get there, take Portland Road to Morrison Lake Road, turn south and continue to the end. You will find the paved boat launch on your right, with plenty of paved parking and two vault style toilets. Morrison Lake is known for its walleye, but if fishing is not what you are looking for, try the Morrison Lake golf course on the corner of Portland and Jackson Roads. Originally opened in 1926, this eighteen hole course is a favorite to many. The history of this area goes way back as evidenced by the recent discovery of a mammoth tooth. |
