This all sports public Michigan lake consists of 379 acres of surface waters, with a reported depth of up to 35 feet. Eagle Lake is serviced by a municipal sewer system. Fishermen report catches of Bluegill and Largemouth Bass. Eagle Lake Marina located on South end of lake, just off US 12. There are 21 lakes within 5 miles of Eagle Lake including Juno Lake (190 acres), Christiana Lake, Davis Lake (26 acres), Painter Lake, Coberts Lake (47 acres), Spring Lake (8 acres), Garver Lake (67 acres) and Pleasant Lake (80 acres). Also, nearby are five whitewater paddling spots all within 60 miles. For winter enjoyment, there are three ski resorts within 40 miles. Eagle Lake is 108 miles from Chicago, 11 miles from Elkhart, 20 miles from South Bend and just outside of Edwardsburg. From Edwardsburg take U.S. 12 East to Lane Rd. Turn left (North) on Lane Rd and follow to North Shore Drive. Turn Right (East) on North Shore Drive to the lake.
